Fortnite campfires are an often overlooked asset in the battle royale, but they’re particularly important if you find yourself low on health and want to stoke campfires for a boost. Usually when your HP is dropping low you’ll turn to medikits and bandages, or perhaps even the many different Fortnite foraged items you can harvest, however if you find one of the Fortnite campfires then you can essentially top up your health for free, and to a higher level than bandages alone will allow. Adding in a small amount of wood mats will stoke the flames to keep the healing fire lit, and even if the campfire has been previously extinguished you can still invest a couple of hundred wood to rekindle it.
Fortnite campfires may not be the best source of health overall, but if you (or your squad) are in a bind then they can really help you out, especially if you’re approaching the Fortnite endgame and don’t have any more healing items in your inventory. Check out the our map below, and we’ll show you where to find all of the Fortnite campfires locations.
Fortnite Campfires locations
We’ve been exploring the island to track down all of the Fortnite campfires, and have marked 90+ known locations on the map above – if you need a closer look, then click on the image to expand it. They’re fairly well spread across the map, though there are clusters at Believer Beach and Weeping Woods, as well as along the south coast if you want a better chance of finding one unused. If you’re with a squad in need of healing then make sure you’ve all gathered round before someone activates one of the Fortnite campfires, and consider putting up some protective walls so you don’t get sniped while topping up your health!
