A new season means Fortnite new weapons have entered the Island loot pool and more weapons have headed to the vault to balance out the battle royale arena. After the destruction of the alien Mothership and the return of the cubes, new weapons themed around the rocky alien cube creatures and last season’s Imagined Order are here. The new cube-themed ‘Sideways weapons’ are only obtainable by venturing into the mysterious Sideways realm of Fortnite where the gravity is lowered, and you cannot build. As always, a few old weapons have made their way out of the vault with Fortnite Season 8, including the Burst Assault Rifle and Harpoon Gun.Here is the full list of new, returning, and vaulted weapons in Fortnite Season 8.
There are four completely new Fortnite weapons that have launched with Season 8, two of which are new Sideways weapons. These weapons can be found in Sideways Anomalies and Sideways zones which are Points-of-Interest on the Island that have been affected by the cubes. One of last season’s Fortnite characters, Slone, has had her personal Burst Assault Rifle added to the loot pool, along with the Boss Minigun in Fortnite Season 8.

Vaulted weapons and items
Only a few weapons have been vaulted but some their absence is sure to make an impact on the Fortnite meta. Here’s what has headed to the vault:

Unvaulted weapons and items
Not much got unvaulted with Season 8, which is bad news if you were expecting an old favorite to make it back to the Island. Here’s what has made a comeback:
