The island is populated by a cast of Fortnite characters, who are NPCs you can interact with to initiate a variety of activities. Successfully completing their quests awards Fortnite gold bars, which can be spent on items and services offered by the characters. Characters no longer offer Fortnite bounties, so you’ll need to collect those from bounty boards instead.
